Lilla Solvalla
Book a cabin for the summer in an active and sporting environment right next to the Nuuksio National Park! Lilla Solvalla is located on the shore of Nuuksio’s Pitkäjärvi lake, below the Solvalla Sports Institute. The cabin was built in 1938.
The cabin offers overnight accommodation for 12 people:
• 5 double rooms
• 2 single rooms
Towels and bed linen are provided.
The cabin features three washrooms (one with an additional shower) and two bathrooms (2 showers/bathroom).
The rooms and cabin are carefully cleaned after each customer by a professional cleaning service.
Equipment
The living room of the cabin has a large dining table a sofa set and a fireplace. The cabin has a fully equipped kitchen. The guests are responsible for cleaning the kitchen.
There is also a place for barbecuing behind the kitchen (subject to advance reservation).
Amenities
Both of Solvalla’s shoreside saunas are located in the proximity of the cabin, and both can be reserved for sauna bathing. There is a sandy beach close to the cabin.
You can also rent a canoe or kayak and paddle on the Pitkäjärvi lake in Nuuksio. There are several forest trails/routes starting at Solvalla for hiking. There is one open and one closed lavvu tent in the forest that can be rented for personal use.
There is also a gym, sports hall and sports field at the Solvalla Sports Institute, available for reservation.
